Tips for Maricopa County Home Show Attendees

We at Austin-Morgan Closets are gearing up for another Maricopa County Home Show, April 27 – 29, 2018 at the Arizona State Fairgrounds. We will be located at booth 301 in the Exhibit Building if you would like to stop by and peruse our mobile showroom!

Attending the Maricopa County Home Show will give you great ideas for a wide array of products and services your local businesses have to offer.

To get the most of the home show make sure you have a plan!  It can be overwhelming when you first arrive and there are tons of people and a maze of booths.  Here are a few tips to make your experience a positive one:

1 – Visit the Maricopa County Home Show website  to view the show magazine and to see a list of exhibitors and their booth locations.  You will then be able to map out which exhibitors you would like to visit and make the most of your time. Prior to the show create a sketch of the space you are looking to remodel, including measurements. We love discussing your project.  Even a rough sketch will help us answer many questions and may quickly allow us to give you an approximate estimate of the cost of your project.

2 – Setup a Houzz account prior to the show.  An Ideabook allows you to collaborate with us using your photos, notes, and ideas.  Visit Houzz.com to get started.  Watch this video to create your Ideabook and share it with Austin-Morgan Closets on Houzz.

3 – Research exhibitors prior to the show.  Go to their website, Facebook page and learn more about them.  It is a great way to read reviews of other customers’ experiences working with the company.  Let’s face it, your goal is to find a reputable, local company that you want to work with.

Take your time and talk with the vendors.  We are there to answer any questions you may have.  Get to know the company that is potentially going to do work in your home.  Don’t be afraid to enter the booths.  We want you to touch and feel our product.  We are proud of the quality product we offer.  It gives you the opportunity to directly compare our product with our competitors.

4 – Wear comfortable shoes and do not forget your Fitbit!  You will be doing a lot of walking.  Don’t miss out on a record number of steps.  Don’t let sore feet cut your time short.
